Why Washington Worries.

Foreign relations are so difficult because many people accross the world have been against the united states administration. When i say administration i mean when Bush was in office. When former president bush was in office he led our country into disaster. the reason we are in teh econimic crisis that we are, is becuase of him. Other countries have had hard times deciding whether to work with us due to his bad presidency. the middle east, most of them are completely against us. they dont want us over there, they dont want us to be helping them. but according to Bush we needed to be over there, we needed to bring on a war between us. He s the reason we have a hard such a hard time with foreign relations.
I beleive that Obama should keep on trying to change our foreign policies. He has only been in office for a couple months. and he has already made abig difference in our country. He is trying to pull out troops in iraq, and thinks that it will be a good idea that we pull out slowly in order to bruing peace and help the middle east. he is trying to make our country a better, more effective country with many canges in store for us. With Obama in office, i believe that our country will be better with the war in iraq. he is helping us wih the progression of this war, and our administration is a better one now than 8 years ago.

stem cell research article

i dont think that the states should have to right to oppose stem cell research. Due to all the people who are anti and pro stem cell, just make it a law throughout the nation to ban it. i think that the study and research of it is just a waste especially if once u retrieve the embryo, it dies. i dont full yunderstand the whole reason for this. but i do know that if its going to make this big of a mess of things, then why allow it in the first place. the stem cell research is an ongoing process and i dont understand why people make such a big deal out of it.

Newspaper Publisher McClatchy Cuts 1600 Jobs

What I think what will happen to Newspapers in teh future, is that they will eventually fail all together. The way it looks now, with teh company having to make all those pay cuts and laying people off. The company wont be able to make it much longer with all those people gone, and having to down size so much. i get my news from watching news channel 7, i dont always watch it but when i have the time i usually do. i jsut dont really have the time the read the paper, or watch teh news really. I usually end up hearing whats going on in the world from my mom, or teachers and friends. I think i will miss newspapers, i think they are the last things we have from the past with the internet now and everything becoming high speed, and more high tech. I will miss them because when i do have the time to read the paper, i like to sit down and enjoy it. i read everything in it. and Where online or anyplace else will i be able to read the funnies?

State Budget.

With this budget cut happening, many, if not all, Californians will be affected. On Thursday Governor Schwarzenegger signed an agreement to raise the taxes by $12.5 billion. The schools and health care will also be a major increase. Therefore many people will be paying more and more to see a doctor, when already healthcare has risen. And Californians have already been paying too much as it is. The schools will be affected by this. Colleges and Communtiy colleges will be raising their bills by 9 percent. Therefore community colleges will be larger, and students will be paying more still. Universities will be affected by the cost, by losing students due to the taxes. Many people in California will be paying higher taxes, and some may be recieving IOU's because our state is in so much debt, they need that money for the state budget. the gasoline tax will be proposed a 12 cent increase.
Governor Schwarzenegger, has been working with Maldonado, trying to win hi svote and approval for the ammendment to make California's political parties open and nonpartisan. Abe Maldonado did not want the legislative pay increases during deficit years, and creating more competitive elections by establishing open primaries. Our gvernor workied with him to try and win Abe's vote and back his decision.

Favorite Film of 2008

My favorite movie released in 2008 would have to be Gran Turino. I prefer that movie over Dark Knight, 7 Pounds, or any other movie beacuse it had all the things I liek to seee in a movie. The movie Gran Turino, With Clint Eastwood, was a wonderful movie because Clint Eastwood is one of my favorite actors, and the plot to the story was in the present day scene. It dealt with the problems that many americans face; race, personal losses, family problems, and much more.

In this movie clint eastwood played a man who was in the war, and those memories from that stayed with him throughtout his life. After the death of his wife, his family tried to help him the best they could. His neighbors however, were asian, and they tried to be as neighborly as possible, but he did not have anything but racial things to say to/about them. He later learned to somewhat like his neighbors and earned a special trust with them.

This movie is my favorite of 2008, due to the story line, and how it was played out. Clint Eastwood was the perfect chioce for this film, and it showed me a kind of relief for those poeple who need our help the most. But we tend to look past it, those people come to realize that life isnt just about yourself, but helping others, and being there for them when they need you. Whether that means getting over your hate or fear of meeting someone new. that is the reason I love this movie from 2008.

Hamlet is a victim of circumstance due to his mother marrying his uncle so soon after his father dying. He is incapable of action because ther is nothing he can do to stop his mother and uncle from being together and ruining the town. He is an excessively ambitious prince who lusts for power because his mother and father had given him everything thing, and then when the kig dies hamlet had nothing.
